Small Shy Truths

In place of the typical bio here's my story. My mum was diagnosed with cancer when I was 16 years old. My sister lost her battle with cancer when I was 21 years old (leaving behind 4 young children one of which committed suicide in his early 20s). My best friend lost her battle with cancer as a young mum of 2 in our early 40s.  Mum now 88 is still fighting cancer and inspiring us with her grit, determination and love.

My take aways;

The infinite strength of a woman.

The fragility of life and the importance of making it count.

The simplicity that human kindness lends to life and work.

After 30 years in the media agency,  sales, and creative industry Ive learnt many things and seen much change - one thing will never change the impact human kindness to be completeed   - UMAR can you add a handwritten sign off/ signature ?

Acknowledgment of country

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, and pay our respects to their Elders, past and present. We work and live on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. We recognise the strength and resilience in the face of colonisation. We honour their continuing connection to land, sea and community and recognise that for generations, they have lived the values we work to share: to protect and prosper through community, inclusivity, and sustainability.
